About the Author
Roberta Visser has been published in Women in Judaism, The Worcester Review, Entelechy International, damselfly press and New Hampshire Poets’ Showcase among others. She was one of the winners of The Late Blooms Poetry Postcard Series and Dancing Poetry Contest, was a finalist for the Anna Davidson Rosenberg Poetry Award and was the recipient of the Charles A. Hildebrandt Holocaust Studies Award for New England Residents for 2016 and 2017. Roberta is also the author of the chapbook, Listen to Me, about her parents’ last days. She lives in New Hampshire with her husband, Abe.
About the Illustrator
Rachel Halper is a freelance illustrator who currently lives and works in New York City. She received her BFA in Illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2014, and studied Illustration and Printmaking at the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg, Germany, in 2013. Her creativity is fueled by travel, playing the ukulele and spending time in the outdoors on visits to her hometown, Greenfield, New Hampshire.
